April 3rd., 1944.

Dear Miss Frost:

The enclosed catalogue of Fernand LEGER's "Plonguers", will give you a better idea of the scope of my forthcoming show.

I was very much interested in Mr. J. J. Sweeney's article ("Art News" October 15th., 1942) which you referred me to. However, I believe - and I think you will agree with me - that it was perhaps a little too general to apply to this particular group. It is true, of course, that one of the paintings is reproduced.

I shall have all the pictures assembled by Thursday, and should you drop in, please do ask for me, as of course they will not be on view.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
