March 1st., 1944. Dear Mrs. Patterson: By same mail I am writing to Mr. Bull in connection with an exhibition of pictures by Fernand LEGER which I am going to hold at my galleries from April 19th. to May 6th., and I am enclosing herein a little note giving you the gist of the show. I have also sent Mr. Bull a photograph of one of the paintings, as in view of the tremendous role played by Fernand Léger in the whole modern movement I thought it might be of interest to your readers. Yours very sincerely, (Germain Séligmann) Mrs. Augusta O. Patterson, 572 Madison Avenue, New York 22, New York.
