Hot as H. and quite clear, few cumulus clouds hanging around half way to horizon which is clear. Hot & humid with lots of  tiny flies Drosophila lighting on me; enough to irritate without being really [[underlined]] troublesome.[[underlined]]

Roosvettia palms lower leaves dead & brown looking, maybe time of year that they are dropping old ones

Bet 1 and 2 p.m. after lunch scarcely more than a 20 min shower though quite brisk while it lasted, all the rain we've seen in 2 1/2 days sunny weather, Hot, sticky & humid
