no one craved any solid food, just liquid, liquid, liquid- anything with liquid, canned tomatoes were very welcome but weight was against them yet the fact that it was like carry that precious commodity water compensated for the fact. We ate up at least one can of raisins couple of hard tacks & couple of strips of bacon. //^[[put up in right place under 13th p. [[boxed]]6[[/boxed]]]] Sugar & tea went over great had some after I woke up after the signaling had been completed, later had Capt. Pickens brandy. Went over big with the men.
    
After return to beach were met with bowls & cans of grape fruit, and did it hit the right spot would never have believed it could taste so good.
    
Capt Lynch's group made back to beach in [[strikethrough]] 50 [[/strikethrough]] 55 mins. (we took 1.15 [[mins?]]
    
Went fishing with Dr.[[underlined]]&[[/underlined]] Capt Lynch after lunch in late afternoon, got wahoo, siena & grouper out of lagoon & [[Wit?]].
