of service for Christ and calls insistently upon them to decide for him and his cause as over against the call of the world to a life of selfishness and ease. Multitudes have responded to this call and answered, "Here I am send me," hundreds of our finest and best young men and women standing ready to go.

(5) The B. Y. P. U. A Social Organization.

Through the B. Y. P. U. the Church may conserve, in a practical way, the entire life of its young members – the spiritual, mental and social. The social natures of the young people crave fellowship. In the B. Y. P. U. this desire is met in a fine way. How much better it is for a church to provide social pleasures for the young people under the proper auspices than for the young people to satisfy these longings in an atmosphere unfriendly to spiritual welfare.

The church should plan social meetings as well as prayer meetings for its young people. This it does through and in the B. Y. P. U. Each B. Y. P. U., from the Junior up, as it social life plan for on the basis of the social needs and desires of its members. Thus in the B. Y. P. U. the play-life as well as the prayer-
