SUGGESTED ORDER OF EXERCISE

1. Usual Signal for Beginning.
2. Prayer: Closing with the Lord's Prayer.
3. Singing: Celestial Showers, No. 2, No. 171.
4. Poem To be read or recited.

HE NEVER FORGETS

Nay, nay do not tell me that God will not hear me.
I know he is high over all,
Yet I know just as well that he always is near me
And never forgets me at all.

He sits on his throne in the wonderful city.
And I--I am ashes and dust!
Yet I am at rest in His wonderful pity,
And I in his promises trust.

He lighteth the stars, and they shine in their places;
He maketh his sun like a flame;
But better and brighter to Him are the faces
Of mortals that call on his name.

Nay, nay! do not tell me that, wrapped in his glory.
He hears not my voice when I cry;
He made me! He loves me He knows all my story!
I shall look on his face by and by!

5. Scripture Reading--Colossians 2:6-12.

Superintendent: As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

School: Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Superintendent]: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

School: For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Superintendent: And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

School: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

All: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

6. Recitation in Concert--Psalms 107:8-15.

8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the Most High;
12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

14 Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord.
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
