The principal items of repair are the plastering of the lower story (about 437 yards @ 35cts. = $152.95), the painting of the house (about $100.00), and the erection of two privies (any sum from $30.00 to $130.00).

Our Sabbath School is now too large to be accommodated in either of the rooms up stairs, although the crowded season of the year has not arrived. This is probably the most distinctively Union School in Raleigh as the teachers are of four or five different denominations.
