Colonel.

I have this day received the decision of the Ass't Commissioner in the case of [[underlined]] Peter Price [[/underlined]] and others v.s. [[underlined]] R. M. Abbott. [[/underlined]] I have the honor to request, that as I am not sustained in my decision, [[underlined]] Mr Abbott [[/underlined]] should be at once notified to dispose of the Tobacco, or to have the Tobacco weighed for division, within fourteen (14) days from date, on which day I will go to Pelham Depot and settle the case finally, as I fear he would disobey my order. You are not aware that the Tobacco requires a great deal of time and labor to be put in market, for sale, and before May hardly any Tobacco is sold. Therefore I took the steps, in regard to the order, for the Com.

Very Respectfully
Your Obdt Servant
