I have the honor to report that in obedience to par. II. Sp. O. No. 73. Hd Qrs A. C. Bu. R.F. and A.L., dated at Raleigh N.C. July 23. 1868, I have this day removed my Office from Graham N.C. to Company Shops. I have rented an Office from Wm A. Smith, Esq, President N.C.R.R. . The Office is 18' by 20', well ventilated, has a fireplace, and is Conveniently and respectably situated.

I have agreed to pay a rent of ten Dollars per month, to commence on the first of August 1868; and respectfully request that my action be approved.

I would respectfully suggest that this Office and Station is well adapted as a Central point for several Counties in case the State
