dangers of hell fire. It is a Gospel of uplift. It is not trimmed to meet the superficial fashions of the passing hour.

You know; our world is populated with broken homes, broken men, broken hearted mothers, and wives and children, and their hearts are yearning for something as elemental as their needs. Let them not turn to the church in vain. The Gospel of the Son of God is our only remedy. It can reach our awful needs; It can get down to our deepest depravity, and bring cordials, and balms to our most appalling sorrows. It is powerful enough to break down all barriers. Let us fill up on our part. We must put on our working attire.

Joseph Cook has tersely said, the great need of the world is Christianizing [sic] Christianity.. "Make up the full sum. That was the Master's mission. It was a long, hard fight from Bethlehem to Calvary. The road ran straight through Gethsemane. But the Master was not indifferent. Our sins were thorns pricks and spear points, but Calvary is a firm assurance that our Master was not an isolationist.

Paul, like his Master, came off the battle field victorious. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." A life of service.

You know, God needs a few ready men now, Men with commanding voices in this troubled world. Not muffled voices.

I am ready. Twenty-eight years ago, I started. I stand ready now! Ready, ready to fill up on my part. Ready to make up the full sum.

The blueprint for a better world has already been drawn. The cross is not a stumbling block of folly to the saved. It raises life to the highest; yonder's heights. It guarantees freedom.

Must Jesus bear the Cross Alone
And all the world go free?
No, there is a Cross for everyone,
And there is a cross for me. [[/italics]]
