Beckett, was introduced and gave a most excellent address from foreign fields of missionary work. And gave us a wonderful illustration, showing how to interest our little folks in missionary work. She assured the good people of Frederick that each officer and member of the Baltimore Conference Branch heartily appreciated the many kindnesses shown us during our stay here. SECOND DAY-Morning Session

9:00 A. M.-Prayer and Praise service, conducted by Mrs. Dora Murray was a Spiritual Feast; for twenty minutes we feasted heartily at the altar of our Blessed Saviour. This service closed with singing, "Oh For a Closer Walk With God," and a friendly handshake with each other.

The President then took charge of the convention, and asked for the roll call. Eighty-two answered with Scripture verses.

The minutes of the evening session were read and on motion, approved. There were two communications read by the Secretary, Mrs. Pinder, from Mrs. I. N. Ross, wife of Bishop I. N. Ross, of Twelfth Episcopal District, and from Mrs. Mary F. Handy, President o [[of]] the Parent Body. The reports from the various committees were called. The Quadrennial Committee made its report. Rport [[report]] adopted.

A motion was made by Mrs. McEady seconded by Mrs. Murray, that a committee be appointed to make adjustments to the Quadrennial Assessment. An amendment to the motion was made by Mrs. Clara Harris, that a Quadrennial blank with the assessment be sent to every church in their respective districts. The motion was carried.

Report of Contingent Committee was received and adopted.

A motio was made by Mrs. Harris, seconded by Mrs. Murray that the first six seats be the Convention bar. An amendment was made by Mrs. Stewart, that instead of six pews, we use eight. Motion was carried.

Report of Parent Contingent, was received and adopted.

Report of Special Fund, was received and adopted.

Report of Minute, through its Secretary, Mrs. Moore, reported amount of money received at this session for Minutes is $23, Report adopted. Report of Sarah A. Tanner, Memorial Fund. received and adopted. The President commended the various committees for the splendid reports. There arose quite a discussion about reading the reports.

Mrs. M. P. Hill made a motion that in the future the Secretary be a reporter, and that we do not have reports read by delegates.
