Time was given to make reports from the various committees. 

Reports were then read from the different churches by the delegates. Mrs. Violet Manokoo, wife of the pastor of St. John, was introduced to the convention. She responded with a wish to know us all better. 

Mrs. Emily Kinch, Superintendent of Y. P. D., was presented. She pleaded that we not only give money to the work, but that we put in the work—the Spirit of Chrsit[[sic]]

Mrs. M. P. Hill made a very timely response.

Mrs. Lillian Johnson, wife of our new Church Extension Secretary, was introduced, and gave a very inspiring address.

Mrs. Gaines, wife of our [[bold]]Own[[/bold]]new Bishop, A. L. Gaines, who was presented to us who always has good cheer to extend to us. She told us they have their transport for the Islands, and South America. They sail in February, and asked for the prayers of the convention.

Introductions: Mrs. Payne, Revs. Briscoe, Ford, P. E. of Easton District, Nelson, Green, Thomas, Dutton, Wesley, Hayman, Collins, P. E. of Hagerstown District: Bundick, Davis, Allen Green, Hughes, Bond, Stewart, Mrs. Raiff, Evangelist, Mrs. Slocum from Texas.

Presiding Elders Ford and Collins spoke for the group. Later Drs. Stepteau P. E. of Baltimore District, and Morley, Dr. Stepteau also spoke. Rev. Briscoe urged that every one help to make a fund, to aid the needy ministers, on the First Sunday in January.

The collection was lifted by the Finance Committee. Amount, $5. Missionary Benediction lead by Mrs. Gaines. Adjournment.

AFTERNOON SESSION
Immediately after dinner Mrs. Kinch instructed the supervisors as to the work of the Y. P. D.

2:30 P. M. —Opened by singing. Mrs. Douglass, presiding, in absence of the President, who was out with the Executive Board.

President's Hour, Mrs. Stepteau being absent on account of illness, the hour was not used.

Mission Study, by Mrs. Morley, who stated that it is impossible for her to continue the work.

Mrs. M. F. Thompson told the names of the two books for this year: "From One Blood and China."
