My cable from NY this morning couldn't give Bunny control, so I lost about a 2000 Bale sale. And a damned shame it was too. When he heard it he promptly cut it down to 500, but I got him to offer for 500 more of another mark, as well, so I won't come out of it empty handed, I think.

I think I played the best game of tennis last night that I'd ever put up, and I think Stritt did the same. But I got him two sets and we finished six all on another. He run that off today, but it was only darkness prevented three straight yesterday.

Well, I found I'd sold my old friend the 500 tani mark, referred to in our last. The D's weren't piped correctly in NY, or the man that made out the cable was sprung, but I guess I've put that through, too. By heck, but I was busy today! I got a gang of coolies shifting a few hundred from the Maala Wharf to the godown, and the getting them started used up about two hours' time and my entire vocabulary of profane speech. When I went down again ^[[at four]] they had it half done. Then I chinned with 'steen brokers betimes, to help pass the day. I rushed today, wul'la.
