She came in early today, noon. So [[crossout]] we hustled around and writ amazing swift. Mafish khaber.

I'm getting rottener every day at tennis. I'm going to lay off a month and then learn all over again.

We had a session at the club tonight. As usual everything that I got before dinner I dropped afterwards, I never knew it to fail.

I fooled Ike and Naish this morning, all right. Naish came back at Smith and me, but we let it rest until after midnight.

Stung again.

Nothing on the slate again today. I did go over to pass the time of day with Selim, I believe.

We're beginning to run into the long dry spell. Some of the days have been rather hami, and I guess by the end of the month we'll all be in hell. That's what they say the place is, anyway, - don't look so damned shocked.

If we could only walk around with a yard of buz around our shapes the way these niggers do, we might keep cool, too.
