I beat it over to me old friend Bunny's this morning, fought my way through a heterogeneous collection of the Chosen People packed in the door way, and finally arrived in the Sanctum Sanctorum in need of breath and a good sized bath. We had an ordinary session, though it lasted about all morning. 

Blount and Brenchley were over for tiffin. That rotund Wolverine is somewhat of a star in his own peculiar line.

I was driving down to the Point this morning with Dr. Blount,- Blunt it is, damitall,- when I got a telegram from Sutton from Tawahi. To say I was surprised would be tame. Soon as I could tear myself away ^[[from my appointment]] I rushed off to the Deutscher Damfer, where I found him on board. He said he'd had an attack of appendicitis down at Zanzibar, and the doctors had decided to send him home. Well, he certainly had a great trip out here, a taste of life in the East, and now he's in for another trip home. 

Barring the little curly jigger, isn't it a cinch?
