Mail in at last. I didn't get much for all my waiting save three pages from New York with a secret service job on the side. Did you ever hear of a [[strikethrough]]med[[/strikethrough]] mejiddie? Search me.

That bloody mejiddie must have followed me over to the club tonight, for Reis put it over me a love set. You know when a thing like that happens some kind of a first-class working hoodoo is on my trail - for sure. I can usually stave off Reis, but a mejiddie is a new one.

I put it over the plate for 200 E's, and I've been faint from joy ever since. Hadn't unloaded anything for so long that I thought I'd forgotten the combination altogether.

I held an extended session with Bunny today in an endeavor to follow up the good work, but he stalled and refused a mix up, so I was obliged to content myself with Adamally. But I'm hot on the old man's trail. I'm going to take a fall out of him yet, gol darn it all, and this month, too.
