Hell. I've clean disremembered what was on for today. That's what comes of working and slaving downstairs from six to six and ruining our precious health bending over those damned books all day long. I tell you what, hard work isn't easy. But be that as it may. I think we wrote out a page of accounts today and sent ten words to New York. We might just as well take it easy while we have the chance.

From the looks of business a month ago I never expected to live ^[[long enough]] to sell another bale, but I surprised myself by unloading four hundred on the unsuspecting public today. It was a long and weary haggle, all the morning, but it finally came off. Al humdillallah! I hope it will wear off that Adamally black mark a little.
