Owing to another large pressure of work I pursued my literary labors today as yesterday. 

Besse, Smith and I went down to the ETC. for dinner tonight. It was some quieter than the previous session, for which I was duly thankful. Messrs. Sheddock & Elston entertained. 

We win the Marathon! Naish, my boy, you'd better choose the brand and send out the chokra for a watermelon!
