Wanna buy a ostrich? Man outside had one today, chasing it around like a big hen, that he would bid a last farewell to for a monetary consideration of two hundred dibs. Search me how it happened, but we bought some ivory today. I hadn't any limits since the last sale, but as it was a good firm one, we closed without cabling New York first. Spent the rest of the day looking over Livierato's stuff and weighing ours, and seemed real busy. Wonderful, wonderful! If we could only close in on that next door I'd be almost tempted to believe we're alive agin.
