My friend Abdul Rasul must have seen me in earnest conversation ^[[yesterday]] with a Mr. Moses, who happens to have about 3000 prime in town, for today he sent over all his large and said there was more coming soon, and did it without any more palaver at all. Guess he wanted to sell his before we got the other fellow's. It is to laff.

Spent the morning, as well as the afternoon, sorting that ivory, - just as I began to see a little light ahead, along came about a hundred Gendi! The place was absolutely full up [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] with the stuff! I can see where I've got about a week of hollows and points staring me in the face. But maybe the comish account will show us up, so we live in hopes.

I got to my friend Moses for the rest of our blanket stock!
