Hot tennis this afternoon. The old sea-dog licked me the first set, but I got to him next round. Third set I had him five love, with my advantage eight times in the sixth game, but couldn't get the point. Well, he got one game, and then "makufed". How many times have I got five love, and then been bumped! I remember I've only two love sets to my credit, at Aden, but I've missed dozens, as well as getting five-one on Stritt and losing the set! Thats the easiest way to get me rattled.

Oh, we're just floating along in the same old way, Bo, - nothing ever happens here. I bummed around the office all day, killing time,- took a walk later on, and after dinner turned in. Bus.

I have been so reckless as to order fresh clothes. The deed is did, however, beyond repair, for they arrived this afternoon. Really not so bad for only thirty-seven chips, or the munificent sum of about twelve plunks in real money. Couldn't duplicate the job for double the amount, in the States. Think I shall lay in my trousseau before I leave here.
