New cook showed up today from Aden. He seems to be somewhat of a fundi in the cook-line, for which I am devoutly thankful. One's tummy is an exacting creetur out this way. Darned boat was two days late,- guess old Boreas must have been rather busy after they turned Guardafui. All this reminds me I'm no doggone sailor, and I seriously begin to doubt the wisdom of nine weeks on the water, via China. I'm a dod-gasted land lubber before I'm anything else.
