I caught a darned code id by dose yesterday coming 'home from the Sports Club, and I've been sniffling and wrecking handkerchiefs all day long. Cheer up, it may be woise tomorrow, but I hopes not. As long as I can steer clear of the dod-gasted fever I won't kick much about a mere snuffle.

The thoughts of fever and that long sharp jabber that Mac uses, keep me completely off it.

These bloomin' mails here might be arranged a little better. This is the second time running that the home mails have arrived and left with half a day of each other. There are two boats from home on the 23rd, one four days later, and then not another for practically three weeks.

I shall have my friend Lloyd-George or whoever his joblots is, look into this matter.
