Our old friend Parr arrived on the German yesterday. By gum, it seems only the other day since he went away. And Forbes is coming on the 27th. He left here on the January Frenchman, and it seems but last month.

Did you hear about that cable that Jo [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] whacked off to Parr when Parr wired him he arrived O.K? It was short, but sweet. "pacuvius"

You will find it in the fifth Edition.

Well, I put through a sale today that would have jarred Childs had they known it. It was only a hundred bales, but Boustead have been buying altogether from Geldart, and these were Geldart's own goods. Now if we can keep on with them, I tell you it will be worth something. Old Jo approached BB some time ago, and tried to fix up a shauri, but it was no go. When it comes to a show down, and we get a fair chance, there's only one Bait el Buz, and thats at 18, Ndia Kuu.
