Had a picnic on t other side of Port Rietz today. After dropping the dingy we took a little sail around, and came back for a huge lunch in a banana grove on the shore. We had a swim later on,- my first in nearly three years,- and then after tea we started back. We put the anchor on deck instead of in the stern of the dingy, but no sooner had we cast off than the dingy commenced a series of circus-flip flops, ending up by taking a ^[[perpendipidar]] dive clean out of sight. It was a tough job pulling her up on deck and tipping her over, but that accomplished, and the anchor replaced on the stern-seat, we reached home in fine style.

My, but we are a burned-up trio today. It was my morning for sharing, too, worse luck.

Nothing doing today except the opposition fixed up a shauri with Alidina that will make Beaver St. stand on end when they hear of it. Alidina says he had to do it to put an up-country Indian out of business, but it will be hard to explain. However, it's nothing I could prevent. Parr paid a good price. We'll keep under it, too.

October - He's still got it, right in New York. Aint is funny he can't sell it?
