Outside of a sail in the Kilindini and Port Rietz, and losing sixteen points more, there was nothing doing today, either. We picked up Lemm and Bonham-Carter after a long chase down Port Rietz, and then ^[[all]] started back. Lemm was doing fine,- in fact, was ahead, until he tried to shave Flora Point too fine and came to grief on the mangrove trees. We had walked up on him and passed him before he got clear.

What Lemm thinks about mangrove trees isn't fit for publication.
