mile and part of the time twists. The house stands on the edge of the land close to the water that I could see but no more. You have to walk across the terrace before getting to the house, and as we went up Uncle George was standing close to the door so that you had to shake hands with him first. Next came Grandma and farther back Mr and Mrs Bromby.

In about quarter of an hour we were taken up

to our rooms. Mine next to Mama's was good sized and what Uncle George called the "tent room" as the curtains and spread are made out of a tent. It was very pretty and the look out lovely, on the Atlantic.

I need not tell what we did all day, but it kept [[strikethrough]] on [[/strikethrough]] [[pencil]] up [[/pencil]] raining, and we had to content ourselves with billiards, cards and reading. Mr Bromby was very nice he taught me the game [[insertion]] billiards [[/insertion]] really, and helpted
