[[strikethrough]] September [[/strikethrough]] October 5th 1890 Sunday

This week went by quite smoothly. I rode and drove, had my painting with Sybil, played sometimes with Alfred's friends, and enjoyed myself with Willie Post who came to supper one evening when Mama was in New York.

Sunday I stayed home all afternoon, read and [[fooled?]].

October 12th 1890. Sunday.

Monday afternoon I drove, but Tuesday I had a lovely time. I began my lessons Monday with Sybil and Mr. Langley we have from 9 till eleven. Tuesday at 11 I intended to ride to the farm with Alfred and some boys, but it rained and Willie Post + Stanlie Whitney had to leave their horses at the stable and pile into the omnibus which was to take those who did not ride.
