The time passed very quickly and almost before we knew it the streets of New York presented themselves to our view, and next came the Grand Central Depot itself.

Our carriages of course were not yet here so we had two cabs to go home in. New York looked as natural as ever, and the house seemed the same

The trunks which had come the day before, were at the house and unpacked, and I found plenty to do the whole evening fixing my room.

I went to bed at last dead tired.

Sunday morning I went to church and heard Dr Greer. The sermon was Luke and splendid as his sermons always are.
