What fun boys do have, when I think of it. They can do just about what they like, and girls, especially myself, cannot do one thing. Not go out alone, or have a jolly time at college. Still with all this I had rather be a girl. Strange.

children in Newport. I walked in the afternoon.

Saturday I went to the opera, it was Asrael quite a new one.

It is very mixed up and a little of everything seems to be in it. I think it rather sacriligeous, but still it was nice. The first act takes place in [[strikethrough]] heaven [[/strikethrough]] hell and they certainly seem to have a very gay time down there. There in a [[fuller?]] and various other unearthly things.

2nd to last line 2nd page = seems it should say 'there is' but it clearly says 'there in' - not sure what the bracketed word is for sure - baller or fuller? Couldn't make sense of that.
