160 Martha went away this morning. It had been decided a good while ago that she should go and now the time has come. The boys will miss her a good deal, but it will do them a great deal of good; they have become much so dependent and Alfred is most dreadfully spoiled besides - well there is no good saying any [[end page]] [[start page]] 161 more bad things about poor Martha. She has a good heart but I am afraid that is all.
