Pretty day but very cold Trying to clean up things a little. The folks ironed and cleaned yesterday but we can't keep things clean. We went in to Florences and went over the house some Took the sweeper. She is coming home tomorrow. Joan called and wanted us to come in so suppose we will. Viola had not been out So it was pretty cold. We went in Chuck showed us the pictures from the Smokies, [[^]] Wash. [[/^]] & Gettysburg

Sale day Have to bake pies to take to the sale I baked 5 took 3 and left 2. They had a fairly good sale as far as eats were concerned We had plenty of help. We Stopped to see the baby He's got so much black hair. I told Florence he looked like a pupoose. He's cute as can be Quite a healthy lad I hope. Peg went to girl scouts with Martha and Clarence went after them.
