Political Committee Also Hears Statements By Israeli, Arab Representatives As Discussion Beings.

_____
By Joseph Ranft.
Paris, Oct. 15.-Dr. Ralph Bunche, acting Palestine mediator, warned today that the greatest danger in the Holy Land is that both Jews and Arabs regard the present truce as temporary.
Dr. Bunche, in a statement before the United Nations Political Committee, emphasized that the last U.N. edict sent to Palestine belligerents actually was a permanent cease-fire order.
Brief statements were made by Israeli and Arab representatives but discussion on Palestine bogged down when Israel's spokesman said he was not prepared to talk on the Holy Land recommendations of the late Count Bernadotte.
Chairman Paul-Henri Spaak of Belgium adjourned the Palestine debate after rebuking delegates for not doing "homework". He instructed both the Jews and [[torn]] to speak.
