Did not get it done tho. We were home all day thought we might go way in the evening but Clarence was too tired. [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]] 1949 MONDAY 28 MARCH 87th Day 278 Days to come [[/preprinted]] Am washing. Wrote 2 letters one to Aunt Ella & Uncle Harry And one to [[wares?]]. Want to go in town also. Must get some more paper. We did not quite have [[strikethrough]] qu [[/strikethrough]] enough. Just behind the door. Got the clothes dry and took them down Then we went down to see George Clappsaddle about shearing the sheep. Saw Roy. We called on Ethel and Anise Had a nice little visit each place we went out to Joe's. Took Bertha's coat that I had shortened for her. We also got our hams.
