Wave at 1.00

Washed. Got part of them dry but had to leave before I got the starching done. Gwynn had bad luck and a connecting rod went out and I had to go to De Graff after another one. Went to Commercial Club. Had a nice time. Lots of music on the programs. I Sang "Open Gates of the Temple" and Alice Blue Gown. Mrs Buckbart Mrs Robinson Mrs Hosteller played a violin Piano & Zylophone trio. Jane H. & Peg played a Saxophone duet. We also saw the eclipse.

Tried to get clothes dry. Also baked cup cakes. It looks like rain. It did. Should have gone to Grange but did not. I went to bed at 8.00 I felt miserable with my cold. Mabel called and said Gerald's had come but I did not feel like going in.
