Olive called and said their dog had distemper Clarence thought Bob had So we took him into Dr Irwin. He gave him[[strikeout]]e[[/strikeout]] 5 shots and 2 kinds of pills He seemed better right away. Took mother down to Dr Firmins Then went in town paid Ins.

Left here about 8.30 to take [[Bertha?]] to Springfield. Had to put 3 qts of oil in the car got Dad a pair of Tom McCann work shoes. we were back shortly after noon we were to bale at Luther Blues we got about 200 bales but all kinds of trouble. Took awhile to get it running right Then lost the crank Then the tractor reared scared me out. Had our supper late as usual.
