We got some groceries got a bu of peaches. came home and baked two peach pies. They are very nice. Clarence raked our hay so will bale this P.M. Gwynn is hauling the mail for the next two weeks including today [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]] 1949 SUNDAY 21 AUGUST 233rd Day 10th Sunday after Trinity 132 Days to come [[/preprinted]] we were home all day. The men hauled in the hay There were 91 bales of lovely hay. Thought we would call on the Reunion at Harners but mother did not feel like it. So we stayed home. no callers either.
