Hurried around had an appointment to get a permanent at 12: We baled hay at Mr Throckmortens. He had [[strikethrough]] one [[/strikethrough]] 112 bales. He paid us. We went to the Card party at Joslins Had a nice time. Richard went to the show with Harold J

A beautiful day. We went to S.S. Richard sang "My Task." He got along fine. Martha [[Orsborne?]] accompanied him. We had planned a picnic at Roadside park on 68. We had a very nice time. A grand dinner hamburgers, baked beans, sweet potatoes, potato salad, cheese cookies, pickles cake coffee and apple pie. Came home and retired early.
