Dad had to work this a.m. Got his breakfast then stayed in bed until 8.30. Then cleaned up the upstairs and cleaned out registers, then did washing. Hope they get dry. They did. Took Peg down to Coles for helping but she did not do much. Went to card party at Mabels. Had a grand time. She served Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream, doughnuts coffee and candy.

We did not get up until about 11. So no one went to S.S. We were home all day. Clarence was sick. In the p.m. I worked a jigsaw. Clarence went to bed early and I was thinking about it when Chas Florence and Eddie came out. They were not here so long.
