A beautiful day. We did not get up until late. Have lots to do. Went over the house baked a cake. [[strikethrough]] Kids [[/strikethrough]] Peg & I went in town. Stopped at Florences. Took Eddie with us after apples. We went to locker also. Got home late Gwynn went to Verle Fergusons dance Turned on tank of gas.

Cloudy. We had no brakes on the Red car so we did not go to S. S. Dad took it down to Shirley Marmons. The brakes cylinders were bad I guess. It surely was a pain to drive. Kids went to the show. Went to bed early as I have an awful cold. Mr Slade called for Gwynn to come to work in the morning.
