It rained Have not done anything. Want to get the mending done this P.M. We had quite a storm and several limbs from the locust trees went down. Clarence got the tractor out and cleaned the big ones up. We went to Grange and Council. I took Peg to dance at the Cancer benefit. And Dad and Dick stayed at Lowes. Richard sang Little Boy Blue.

Took the car in town in A.M. to get brakes fixed. Got home late noon but forgot the meat so had to go back for it. Went to E. Liberty to Stars meeting but was in the kitchen. I fixed mock chicken sandwiches. Came home in the rain. Dick & Harold had intended to sleep out but came in on account of rain. Sue was here with Peg.
