to take over the practice on his own as Lee approaches retirement.  Also there is a daughter, Grace Elizabeth, about Bab's age, who married Cal Neithamer, one of my GE boys, and lives here in Erie.  I guess there are a total offive or six grandchildren.  Lee was recently out of commission and in Hamot for tests regarding some sort of "circulatory trouble" but that's all we've been able to gather.  He's home again but I gather not entirely okay.  Rosamond had a heart attack several years ago but by taking care of herself she has achieved a good recovery although she has to walk every day and watch her p's and q's.  I'll conclude these Tarno comments by displaying a photo taken at a club dinner party at the Collins in April 1953.  It is excellent of all four and might be called "The Dentists and the GE Girls."

The final couple in this review is [[underline]]Marion and Dick Lamborn[[/underline]].  Marion is standing between me and Rosamond Tarno while Dick is next to Willie and with his flash bulb eyes, is almost unrecognizable.  Here again we have two very old friends.  Marion is Barbara Reed's younger sister.  Dick was a classmate and I believe also roommate of Charlie Reed's at MIT, possibly also at Hill School.  Their GE careers have run along somewhat in parallel except for some disruptions caused by the Great Depression and Charlie's military service.  When I retired in 1962, each of them was a unit manager in the Transportation Equipment Business Section, of which I was manager.  Dick was a brilliant electrical designer and headed up our motor and gererator design group.  I had had great professional respect for Dick for many years as well as finding him a most interesting guy to know personally.  Being around with Dick would never give you a hilarious time but you could usually count
