The family met me this morning and I learned that [[red underline]] Willie has been sick [[/red underline]]with an attack of bladder inflammation similar to my trouble except ten times worse with blood and severe pain. Dr. Hart said it was from eating too much tomatoes, peaches and acid producing food plus possibly a slight cold. He gave her some medicine that relieved the trouble at once and now she is nearly over it but it had her frightened terribly the night it came on all of a sudden. I still think my trouble may be caused by a strain of some kind.

[[red underline]] Rog has been kicked in the face [[/red underline]] playing early season football and has a big black and blue spot on his chin. [[red underline]] He and Boyd Bert are building another shack [[/red underline]] behind our garage. I hope it fares better than the last one that was torn down while we were at Basin Harbor in 1940.

Believe Dick and Carl will go to Washington with me tomorrow to talk to Vic Rennix about their problems.

Whitey informed me jokingly (I hope) that the time
