Grace might ask me to play some tennis today but he didn't so this afternoon I took a delightful walk in the Park and around the Zoo by myself. It was about 70 degrees, sunny and balmy, and seemed like a summer afternoon except the foliage was flaming with orange, scarlet and yellow leaves among the rich browns of ^[[late]] autumn - gorgeous in the park, to see the tall white birches still alive with waxy yellow leaves, great trees deep brown except for bright green ivy rising up their trunks, others absolutely scarlet and some covered with leaves the color of red grapes. And the very satisfying feel and sound of dry leaves beneath one's feet tramping along the bridle paths and then the woods. Saw the sea lion get fed his 3 PM
