Dear Cole:

With the close of Charles Shannon's exhibition last Saturday, I have given instructions to return to you your painting of the Three Little Girls Waiting for a Bus which you so kindly had lent us.

I do not want to miss this opportunity to thank you for you cooperation on behalf of the firm and also for Charles Shannon and want you to know that your painting was much admired and I am sure it added greatly to the success of the exhibition.

I trust you received the painting in good condition, and with my kindest personal regards,

Believe me to be

Always sincerely,

(R. H. Waegen)
