Dear Mrs. Porter:

I take the liberty of sending you these few lines as you may not know that we have moved from our house on 51st Street to new quarters at the above address.

When I saw you at lunch yesterday, it occured to me that liking beautiful pictures as much as you do, you might -- one day when you are in the neighborhood -- enjoy seeing our really exceptional new Van Goghs, Renoirs and Corots, which it would give me a great deal of pleasure to show you.

Unfortunately, I have to go to Boston tomorrow night, but shall be back Monday morning and will be here in New York during the entire week. I trust I shall have the privilege of seeing you then, and with many kind personal regards,

Believe me to be

Always sincerely,

(R. H. Waegen)
