October 25, 1949.

Mr. Germain Seligmann
Jacques Seligmann & Co.
5 East 57th Street
New York 22, N.Y.

Dear Germain:

On my return from London I find your letter of October 20th. I am writing to the Fogg Museum to have the photographs taken you request, and trust you will hear from them as promptly as possible.

Referring to your request regarding your submitting the two pictures in question to a South American Museum, I have no objections to it, knowing you will handle it in your usual discreet manner. As to the price you mention to the South American Museum, I note what you say and, should I be approached, I would, of course, refer the matter back to you.

With kindest regards, and looking forward to hearing from you,

Sincerely yours,
