Mrs. E. S. Bayer,
32 East 70th street
New York

Dear Madam,-

We beg to inform you that the painting "Portrait of Martin Luther", by Granach, which we received recently from Messrs. Jacques Seligmann & Fils, has now been cradled, according to instructions, and is ready for delivery.

This work has been very carefully done. The thin wooden panel which was at the back of the picture had to be taken off on account of the cradling, but it is neither necessary nor advisable to have the back of the picture covered, as it is now fully protected by the cradling.

Kindly inform us when we may deliver this picture to you.

Very truly yours,
JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO. INC.
