JACQUES SELIGMANN & COMPANY, Inc

WJ:KP

January 4th, 1933.

Messrs. Proskauer, Rose & Paskus,
11 Broadway,
New York City.

Attention Mr. Melvin Robbins.

Dear Sirs:

We beg to enclose copies of invoice and correspondence with Mr. William Randolph Hearst, in reference to a purchase he made in August 1930 - although he was not billed until July 1931 - amounting to Francs 307.000.-, of which we have not been able to obtain payment, after various requests by letter and telephone either addressed to him personally, or his Secretary, Mr. C. A. McGregor.

As we have not received the slightest response, we would please ask you to take steps for the purpose of receiving remittance of the amount due.

As you will notice, the Renaissance Cabinet and the Porcelain Clock have been delivered to the International Studio Art Corp., 387 Southern Blvd., New York, which we understand is a Corporation for the storing of works of art of Mr. Hearst.

Thanking you for attending to this matter with the best speed,

Yours truly,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & COMPANY, Inc.
