December 21, 1928

My dear Waegen:

Thank you for your letter of December 19th. I have not yet seen the picture, as it hangs in the dining-room, but I will look at it at the first opportunity. The Secretary is trying to get away to Pittsburgh to spend Christmas and will leave at the end of the week. I think perhaps he will be able to come to some conclusion before he goes and I hope very much it will be favorable. I will let you know the first news that I have.

Thank you very much for sending me the information regarding the cruise next summer. I will pass it on to the man I spoke of who is interested in going. I am going away myself on Saturday to South Carolina and will not return here until the 27th. I hope you have a happy Christmas and that I shall see you early in the new year.

Sincerely yours,
